Business Development Specialist


Job Purpose

The Business Development Specialist is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and supporting business growth through market research, lead generation, and strong customer relationship management. The role focuses on expanding the company’s client base, identifying potential opportunities, and contributing to the achievement of business development objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.

  • Experience working in a consulting firm or professional services environment is preferred.

  • Strong ability to identify and evaluate new business opportunities through market research and analysis.

  • Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.

  • Experience in B2B business development and client relationship management is preferred.

  • Experience using ERP systems and CRM tools.

  • Good command of Arabic and English, both written and spoken.

  • Strong negotiation, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and potential clients.

  • Conduct market research to identify market trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients and business partners.

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified business opportunities.

  • Support the preparation of business proposals, presentations, and commercial offers.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are understood and addressed.

  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and follow-up activities to support business growth.

  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships that support the company’s business objectives.

  • Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records using ERP and CRM systems.

  • Monitor market and competitor activities and provide relevant insights to management.

  • Track business development activities and prepare regular reports on opportunities and progress.

  • Contribute to achieving business development targets and overall company growth.
