Senior Infrastructure & Technical Solutions Engineer

Job Purpose

The Senior Infrastructure & Technical Solutions Engineer is responsible for managing, supporting, and improving the company’s IT infrastructure, network services, cloud platforms, security solutions, and technical systems. The role provides advanced technical support, supports technical solution design and project delivery, and coordinates with vendors and stakeholders to ensure effective implementation and operation of technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, technical support, networking, systems implementation, or technical solutions.

• Experience in technical project implementation, vendor coordination, customer support, and system handover.

• Experience preparing technical proposals, RFP responses, scopes of work, or solution presentations.

• Good command of Arabic and English.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services, storage, backup, and end-user computing.

• Administer and support Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and endpoint-security solutions.

• Support network, firewall, VPN, cybersecurity, backup, monitoring, and system-hardening activities.

• Act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure, network, cloud, security, and technical incidents.

• Gather technical requirements and design infrastructure, network, cloud, security, and low-current solutions.

• Prepare technical architectures, specifications, scopes of work, implementation plans, and bills of quantities.

• Participate in infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, network, and systems-integration projects.

• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure successful technical delivery.

• Review technical proposals, RFPs, RFIs, tenders, and solution requirements.

• Support technical demonstrations, proof-of-concept activities, client meetings, and solution presentations.

• Support systems integration, including CCTV, access control, attendance, and other low-current technologies.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, project handover documents, testing records, and support procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in IT infrastructure, networking, cloud services, technical support, or technical solutions.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and endpoint security.

• Strong understanding of LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, firewalls, and network security.

• Experience with technical architecture, solution design, systems integration, and project delivery.

• Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and presentation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex technical issues effectively.

Preferred Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP).

• Microsoft Azure Administrator or Microsoft 365 certification.

• Microsoft Endpoint Administrator certification.

• Fortinet NSE or Fortinet Certified Professional certification.

• Cisco CCNA or equivalent networking certification.

• ITIL Foundation.

• Relevant cybersecurity or cloud-security certification.
