VP of Digital Solutions

Job Overview

The VP of Digital Solutions is responsible for leading the company's digital transformation strategy and overseeing the development and implementation of technical solutions that support business objectives, ensuring integration between technology, customer needs, and internal operations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and implement the digital solutions strategy in alignment with the company's vision and business goals
• Lead digital transformation initiatives across various departments
• Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies (AI, automation, cloud computing) to improve performance

Product & Solutions Management

• Oversee the lifecycle of digital products from ideation through launch
• Ensure developed solutions meet the needs of internal and external customers
• Manage the digital project portfolio and set priorities

Executive Leadership & Team Management

• Build and lead a multidisciplinary team (engineers, product designers, data analysts)
• Collaborate with senior management (CTO, CIO, CEO) to guide strategic decisions
• Develop internal capabilities and build a culture of innovation

Partnerships & Relationships

• Manage relationships with vendors and technology partners
• Negotiate contracts and agreements related to digital solutions
• Represent the company in relevant industry forums

Performance & Governance

• Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital initiatives
• Manage the budget allocated for digital solutions
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data protection standards

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• Master's degree (MBA or technical) preferred

Experience

• 10–15 years of experience in technology or digital transformation
• 5+ years in an executive leadership role
• Proven experience managing large teams and complex projects

Skills

• Deep understanding of modern digital technologies (cloud, big data, AI, IoT)
• Strong leadership and strategic skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English (depending on the market)
